Danny Janes has secured the services of much admired wide man, Bailey Fuller, after impressing at former club.

Bailey, a former Kidderminster Harriers graduate, had impressed Janes whilst playing for Studley last season in the Midland Football League.

Fuller progressed through the Youth System at Worcester City before moving to Kidderminster Harrier and featuring largely for their Under 23's.

After leaving Harriers, Bailey joined Stourport Swifts in the Midland Football League for the 2020/21 Season, scoring four goals in seventeen games.

Ahead of the 2021/22 Season, Bailey joined Stratford Town in the Southern League but rejoined Stourport Swifts.

Fuller featured five times for Stourport before joining Tim Harris' Worcester City side where he went on to score fourteen in twenty-six games as City missed out on promotion.

It was form that attracted plenty of attention and ahead of the 2022/23 Season, Fuller joined Paul Smith's Halesowen Town at Step 4.

A move that perhaps didn't go to plan, Bailey rejoined Worcester City, initially on loan before making the move permanent.

Fuller's movements didn't finish there as he saw out the season in the Hellenic League with Worcester Raiders, scoring four in nine games.

It was Raiders where Bailey began last season, nine goals in twenty three games attracted the interest of Studley where the wide man would go close to helping the Bees into the Midland Football League play-offs.

Having coached at Studley last season, Janes is looking forward to continuing his work with Bailey at Pershore Town.

"Bailey is a player we tried to sign from Worcester City but didn’t materialise at that moment in time." said Janes.

"When we beat Worcester City, he was a player we really focused our tactical preparations around which shows how highly we thought of him.

"I worked with 'Bails' for a small amount of time last season whilst I coached at Studley. Towards the end of the season I saw him back to his best, full credit must go to Mike Fowler for creating the right environment to allow him to flourish.

"When Bailey Fuller is at the top of his game, he is unplayable in my opinion. 1 v 1 situations there is no better player at this level, his ability to drift past players at ease and glide with the ball are fantastic attributes.

"The way that we play I believe will get the best from him. There are parts of his game I think we can develop from a tactical perspective and his game understanding.

"Bailey has shown a really drive to learn and to understand the game in more depth which is great from a management point of view.

"I am really excited to see the levels we can reach with Bailey. He knows that he needs a consistent season and there is no better place for him than Pershore Town for that.

"He is a player that can have the fans off their seat and I can’t wait to see him in action for us. A player I am delighted to be working with and one that is going to be crucial for us if we are to achieve our objectives come the end of the season."

For Bailey, it's a chance to join a club he's faced a number of times in recent seasons and also link up again with Danny Janes.

"After watching from afar and playing against Pershore over the past few years, it’s great to now be a part of it." said Fuller.

"I'm looking forward to the season ahead, working with DJ and the group, hopefully we'll produce great things as a team!

"On a personal level, I'd love to do what I enjoy most which is helping contribute to the team with goals, assists and creating chances."
