Pershore Town welcome Stonehouse Town to the AIM Community Stadium tomorrow and Janes is looking for a big improvement from his players.

The Plums come into the game on the back of six straight league wins but the last two performances haven't been good enough for Janes.

Whilst he gives credit for his side in securing the three points in each game, Janes wants to see much better individual performances which in turn will produce a better overall performance.

Stonehouse have had an indifferent start to their Hellenic League campaign; standout wins over Hartpury and more recently Shortwood United whereas there's also been four league defeats in their start.

Mid-week saw The Magpies suffer a heavy defeat at Hellenic League Prem side Brimscombe & Thrupp whilst Janes' side haven't played for ten days.

"Stonehouse Town is a club myself and Tom know well from last season and the number of times we have visited their ground." said Janes.

"They have always been a team we have rated, with players such as Ryan Thwaite and Alex Kibble, they have the ability to beat any team on their day.

"We are very much looking forward to this game as I am eager to see a drastic improvement in individual performances.

"We have done enough to win our last two games, and that's a credit to the players, but performance levels have been no where near what is expected and required of a team with our ambitions.

"I talk every week about how we need to be at our best, because one of the games where we aren't, we will get punished.

"For me, no team will beat us because of what they have done to us, it will always be based around what we have failed to do and the levels we have failed to get to."
