Pershore based goalkeeper, Scott Loader, returns to the First Team picture for the 2024/25 Hellenic League season.

Loader, who is a product of Pershore Town's Youth Teams, had previously made his First Team debut during Danny Janes' precious stint at Manager.

Scott was brought into the First Team at the end of the 2021/22 Season, playing his first competitive game in the Hellenic League Supplementary Cup Final against Roman Glass St George.

Pershore Town won the game 5 - 2 at Bishops Cleeve's Keyte Lane, Loader proving to be in fine form on the day.

The following season, as Pershore Town won the Hellenic League double, Scott featured eight times for the First Team, with The Plums winning seven of the eight games.

After just one appearance for the First Team last season, Janes was eager to bring the local shot stopper back into the fold whilst also finding a deal that would obtain regular First Team Football for the youngster.

"Scott was at the Club when we first arrived and I was informed immediately around his promising potential." said Janes.

"Unfortunately for Scott we had Eddie Cox as our Goalkeeper so it was always going to be difficult. When Scott did come into the team he was fantastic and never looked out of place.

"He played in two Cup Finals for us, there aren't many Goalkeepers at his age who can just into that environment and perform to that level.

"This season we have Ryan Young as our number one, which again, makes it difficult for Scott and most Goalkeepers in fairness.

"We have arranged for Scott to go out on loan to Feckenham under one of my former managers, Wayne Bunn.

"Scott is ready for first team football so that situation is progressive for him.

"Scott will then feature with us when he is needed and will be our number two, but we value the importance of game time for him."

Loader is looking forward to working with DJ and Tom again but also fully understands the importance of his loan move to Feckenham to expose him to First Team football on a weekly basis.

"I've been playing for Pershore Towm now for 10 seasons and after making my debut for the First Team under Danny and Tom, it was a no brainer for me to re-sign and work with them again." said Loader.

"I'm excited with my loan to Feckenham which means I will be able to get regular senior football whilst still being available to contribute to Pershore Town as and when I am needed.

"I'm looking forward to the season ahead, looking forward to developing personally and also hopeful to progress with the First Team."
