Danny Janes' side are back on the road tomorrow afternoon with a short trip to fellow Worcestershire side, Sporting Club Inkberrow.

The Plums make the short journey to Inkberrow Recreation Ground tomorrow afternoon for the second league fixture against Sporting Club Inkberrow for the 2024/25 Season.

Heading into tomorrow's game, Danny Janes' side are unbeaten in their last three games, registering two wins and a draw but the hosts sit eight points clear of Pershore in the Hellenic League Premier Division Table.

After securing promotion from Hellenic League Division One last season, SC Inkberrow have taken to Step 5 like a duck to water. Seven wins and five draws in their opening fifteen league games leaves Umit Eminoglu's side sat just two points outside the play-off places.

A late strike from midfielder, Gregor Guy, secured a point against an impressive Mangotsfield United last time around after falling behind to a Stuart Tovey strike.

In terms of players to watch for 'Berrow tomorrow, the frontline will be of huge concern to Janes' side with Connor Stanley and Jack Tolley featuring recently for Umit's side.

Jack is a former Kidderminster Harriers, Bromsgrove Sporting and Hereford FC midfielder who is keen to get forwards. Tolley is direct and will want to get on the ball as much as possible tomorrow to hurt Pershore's back line.

Connor is a more recent addition, the former Manchester United prospect featured towards the end of last season for Berrow as he looks to regain his love for Football. Also listing Bolton Wanderers, Hereford FC and Stourbridge in his former clubs, Stanley has pace to burn and will be looking to open his account for Inkberrow tomorrow.

Previously mentioned Gregor Guy will be another to keep a close eye on, a mainstay in Berrows' side, Greg is likely to feature in midfield and he'll be key to ensuring the ball is ticking for the hosts.

Jay Higgins-Pugsley scored in the fixture between the two sides at the Recruit 12 Community Stadium in August. He'll likely play in an advanced midfield position and will certainly be a player that Pershore will need to not allow space to around the box.

Danny Janes admitted to being disappointed with the point at Thornbury, although acceptable following the circumstances, so he'll be hoping his side can pick up a big three points tomorrow.

With two wins prior to the draw at Thornbury Town, Janes has challenged his players to keep the points tally ticking over whilst Pershore still search for their first away win of the 2024/25 Season.

Jake Donnelly will be missing from selection following his red card on Saturday at Thornbury whilst Kirk Layton could return after injury has kept him out of action recently.

There could be a return to the line-up for Harlie Price, he scored against Roman Glass and could've won the game at Thornbury in the dying moments due to his persistence to get on the end of a forward ball.

Picking a side tomorrow will be tough for Janes who will welcome the return of a number of players including Jack Cresswell in midfield.

"A really difficult game against a team who have been brilliant this season after coming up from Step 6." said Janes.

"We will need to be at our best if we are to get the result we want, and that is three points.

"Inkberrow came to us earlier in the season and sat in and didn't really come out, I expect them to be more on the front foot this time around, especially as they are the home team.

"We are on a good run of form with seven points from a possible nine, it is important we continue to pick up points as we look to climb the league.

"The squad will look slightly different for the game, some players deserve to be involved simply because of how they have trained and how patient they have been."
