Once again we take a moment to go through the scores at Pershore Town Football Club over the past week.

On Wednesday evening, Mike Bishop's Floodlit Under 18's travelled into Herefordshire to take on a much fancied Hereford FC Under 18's. Archie Duffy had given The Plums an early lead but was pegged back just minutes later for a game that remained 1 - 0. Both sides felt they did enough to win the game but neither could find the winner.

Onto Saturday and before taking up their role as First Team mascots, our Under 8's enjoyed a very good game of football with Broadway. There was a double for Harry for Tim Brown's side in this one.

AJ Mountain's Under 11's faced a difficult game against last season's Cup Finalists, Oldbury Park Tigers. Harry S and Cameron both managed to get themselves on the scoresheet.

The Under 11 Bullets' also had a tough game on their hands against Alcester Town, despite a goal from Jack it didn't prove enough to progress in the cup competition.

There was a win for our Under 12's over Alcester Town Rangers. Pershore were woken up after going 2 - 0 down to The Romans although responded to level the score at 2 - 2 for half time. Second half was an improved performance which saw Pershore run out 5 - 2 winners; Charlie helped himself to a brace whilst Anthony, Dara and Troy also added to the scoreline.

Jason Neville was quick to suggest a mistake on his part saw his Under 12 Bullets defeated 4 - 2 against Tewkesbury Town Pumas. Ben and James both scored for The Plums but the game got away from a hard working Pershore side who had taken the lead twice in the game.

Our Under 13's ran riot against Honeybourne Harriers, running out 12 - 2 winners after only leading 4 - 2 at half time. A reaction second half after taking on board the coaches information and details saw eight goals without reply. Lucas Webster scored five, Zachary Chatron-Michaud got three whilst Theo Oliver and George Barker scored a brace each.

Pershore Town Under 14's enjoyed a good day on Saturday with a 7 - 2 away win over Tewkesbury Town Colts. The Plums lead 2 - 1 at half time with goals from Tom Porter and Alfie Quarmby before Tom Porter doubled his tally second half alongside a brace from Charlie Smith and Finley Townsend chipping in. There was an own goal to seal the win.

The Under 15 Midland Junior Premier League side had to come from behind at Pershore after going 2 - 0 down in the first half. Joel Masters was at the double with Callum Jenkinson whilst Alfie Elliot Smith chipped in for the 5 - 2 win.

Meanwhile, the Under 15's playing in the Ambassador League also registered a win whilst hitting five. They ran out 5 - 0 winners over TDMS. Milton Junior Cieta can't stop scoring, he notched a hat-trick in this one with Arran Webster and Dylan Lee who on the scoresheet. Dylan perhaps unlucky not to score three himself but for some superb saves.

Onto Sunday and James Moreton's Sunday Team returned to action in the Evesham & District League after winning their first game 7 - 2 against Glevum Town. The Plums travelled to Offenham Rovers where a goal from Scott Loader picked up a point in a 1 - 1 draw.

Wrapping up the weekend scores were the Under 15's who beat Bishops Cleeve 9 - 3 in the Cheltenham League, a 6 - 0 lead at half time saw a slight reaction from Cleeve but it was never going to be enough to trouble the damage that had already been done. Callum Jenkinson hit four, Alex Sadler struck twice alongside Oscar Hanbury with Milton Junior Ceita chipping in too.
