Another week passes us by and it's another review of the results throughout Pershore Town Football Club.

We begin on Thursday night where following their week off, our Midland Floodlit Youth Team returned to action by welcoming Dudley Sports to the AIM Community Stadium. It was a welcome return for Mike Bishop's side who ran out 4 - 0 winners on the night. Sam Cotton had given The Plums a 1 - 0 halftime lead whilst Ollie Smith, Ronan Coghlan and Joe Feeney struck in the second half to secure the three points.

Moving onto Saturday and Andy Medler's Under 7's produced a fantastic performance over at Alcester Town. Gethyn hit four, whilst Ethan and Alfie both scored twice with Aidan and George scoring one each.

Tim Brown's Under 8's played out and end to end game against Inkberrow, Alfie scored twice alongside Joseph whilst Cammy also scored for The Plums in this one.

Meanwhile, Tim's Under 9's also played out a close encounter! This time against Alcester Town and whilst there will be a discussion about one of the goals, there's not mistaking that Oliver got the other.

Our Under 10's will again dust themselves down in what has been a difficult start for the newly formed team, they took on Drakes Broughton at Abbey Park Middle School but manager Andy * remains more than upbeat that his side are moving in the right direction and more importantly, they're enjoying their football.

Jon Dean's Under 11's are constantly improving tactically and individually whilst playing competitive minutes, they didn't pick up the result they wanted over the weekend but Reece got himself on the scoresheet and picked up the man of the match award.

Richard Morley's Under 12's beat Droitwich Crusaders 5 - 0 away from home. Four first half goals had all but sealed the game and with The Plums keeping a clean sheet it topped off a fantastic display. Troy Amphlett scored twice with Charlie Neale and Finney Boyle-Summers also on the scoresheet alongside and own goal.

Jason Neville's Under 12 Girls team won their first game of the season away against Newtown Sports! It's a 4 - 2 cup victory for Jason's side thanks to four goals from Rhianna!

Our Under 13's left themselves and uphill task after going 2 - 0 down in the opening six minutes of their game, unfortunately they couldn't recover and it was Sheppey Swifts that won the game with a return fixture scheduled for next week.

Phil Haines' Under 14's picked up another win on their travels, a 2 - 0 victory over Warndon Village Pythons. Two first half goals from Nayden Stanev proved enough for The Plums to claim all three points in this one.

Simon Hulse's Under 15's in the Evesham Ambassador League drew 3 - 3 against Alcester Town. The Plums had led 3 - 1 but conceded late into the game for the two sides to share the spoils. Junior Cieta was on the scoresheet again, he scored twice whilst Tom March also chipped in with a goal.

Danny Hilditch's Under 15's in the Midland Junior Premier League lost 2 - 1 against Darlaston Town on Saturday, Callum Jenkinson was on the scoresheet for The Plums but it wasn't enough to prevent defeat.

Our Under 18's in the Evesham Ambassador League returned to winning ways, they took on Droitwich Spa Dragons in a 9.30AM Kick Off and a strike from Ollie Lewis plus and own goal secured the 2 - 1 win which makes it six league wins from six to start the season.

We round up the weekend with Sunday's results and Stuart Townsend's Under 14's saw off the challenge of Wilden Villages away in a cup fixture. Two second half goals fired The Plums into the Semi Final and maintains the unbeaten start to the season. Charlie Smith and Jack Owen were on the scoresheet for Pershore.

Jay Morgan's Under 15's secured three points at home to Lydney Town. A header from Henry Hildtich from a Rorie Hanbury corner gave The Plums a 1 - 0 victory in this one.

Our Sunday Team remain bottom of the Evesham & District Sunday League table but they picked up their first win of the season on Sunday; a huge 9 - 1 home win over Alderton. Scott Loader scored five, Tom Daffin notched twice whilst Grant Hiden and Tyler Yarnold also found the back of the net.
