Results Round-Up; Pershore Town

Always brings about a number of hits on the website, we'll take a look at results throughout the club over the last week.

Starting off on Saturday then with Tim Brown's Under 8's who played a Crowle side at Lower Moor. It was a confident display from the youngster and plenty of scorers to report; Joseph got three, Harry got two whilst Oakley and Bradders both chipped in with a goal for The Plums.

Tim's Under 9's also played Crowle away from home and they produced a fantastic display with Emlyn, Oscar and Harry all getting on the scoresheet.

We kept telling you our Under 10's have been working hard to improve! They played out a fantastic game against Shipston Excelsior. There was three goals for Kevin and a goal each for Will and Karlton.

AJ Mountain's Under 11's are still producing good performance but struggling to find the back of the net, they faced off against Welland Junior Lions away from home and Lucas got on the scoresheet.

Jon Dean is still working hard with his Under 11 Bullets' whilst providing an environment for all players to firstly have lots of fun. They played Bromsgrove Sporting on Saturday with Levi and Luke both getting on the scoresheet.

Jason Neville's Under 12 Bullets produced a fantastic second half performance to beat Broadway away from home. Kyan helped himself to all four goals in a 4 - 2 win for The Plums.

Jason's Under 12 Girls team suffered defeat against Kidderminster Athletic at Eckington, a 7 - 1 defeat is something they'll undoubtedly bounce back from. Casey Barnett on the scoresheet for The Plums.

Our Under 13's played out an entertaining top of the table fixture against Sheppey Swifts at Eckington. Taking a 2 - 0 lead very early in the game before being pegged back to 2 - 2. The Plums then saved a Sheppey penalty before scoring right at the death to win the game 3 - 2. Mikey Sale and George Baker were on hand to open the scoring for Pershore whilst it was down to Theo Oliver to score the winner right at the end of the game.

Pershore Town Under 15's from the Midland Junior Premier League secured a 1 - 0 win at home over Droitwich Spa in the County Cup. Another goal for Henry Hilditch was enough to send The Plums through in this one.

Our Evesham Ambassador League Under 15's also won through into the next round of the County Cup with a 1 - 0 win at Eckington, theirs coming against Warndon Villages thanks to a goal from Harrison Bate.

The Under 18's make it seven wins from seven in the league with a 4 - 2 win away from home against Tewkesbury Town Colts. Joseph Feeney scored twice whilst Harvey Dyke and Joshua Jones were also on the scoresheet.

Onto Sunday and Tim Brown took his Under 8's for another game, this time against Meon Vale at Abbey Park School. Another impressive performance from the young Plums; Alfie (x2), Joseph (x2), Parker, Cammy and Oakley all getting on the scoresheet for Pershore Town.

There was a big win on Sunday for our Under 15's, Jay Morgan's boys did him proud in a 12 - 0 County Cup win over Kidderminster. Tom March scored four, Junior Ceita got two along with Ali Sadler whilst Ellis Williamson, Rorie Hanbury and Jack Ellery also got on the scoresheet, Kidderminster themselves chipping in with a goal for The Plums.

James Moreton's Sunday Team backed up their win last weekend with a 4 - 1 win at home to Ashton 88. The Plums lead 2 - 0 at half time before scoring another two in the second half in a win that sees Pershore jump two places in the league table. Scott Loader scoring a hat-trick to makes it 14 in 7 games whilst Jord Brant also got himself on the scoresheet.

Wrapping up this week on Monday with Mike Bishop's Midland Junior Premier League Under 18's side travelling to Dudley Town for a Southern Division fixture. The Plums falling to a 2 - 1 defeat in the rain in this one, Bishop's side had levelled the score in the second half through Joey Feeney but it was Dudley that scored from the penalty spot to win the game.
