Jenna Lienerth's Under 12 Girls (pictured) fell to defeat away to Alcester Town in their first game of the season. A strong performance with huge improvement on last season, just wasn't to be for the Girls. Alcester Town's keeper in fine form to secure a 1 - 0 win for The Romans, The Plums will go again next week.
AJ Mountain's Under 13's were winners in their game against Westbury Celtic! The Plums ran away with it Second Half, securing a 6 - 3 win after being tied 3 - 3 at half time. Jacob Stokes found the back of the net three times with Lewis Brown, Riley Keetley and Oliver Lawson also on the scoresheet.
Jon Dean's Under 13's had a tough morning against Oldbury Park at Peopleton. A much better afternoon, going on to win the Under 14's Fladbury Regatta Bell Boating title, retaining the championship and proving they can still paddle really really fast.
Richard Morley's Under 14's progressed in the County Cup with a dominant performance over Wilden. The Plums running out 12 - 0 winners with seven goals coming in the second half.
Jason Neville's Under 14's lost on penalties in their County Cup tie against Nunnery Wood. The Plums had led 3 - 1 late in the game but the away side came back to level matters late on. Anthony Neville struck twice, one being an unbelievable free kick, with Kyan Munn Powell also on the scoresheet.
AJ Mountain's Under 14 Girls' secured an impressive 6 - 0 win over Kidderminster Athletic. A very dominant performance to begin the season how the Girls' finished last season! Grace Mountain opened her season with a hat-trick, Rhianna Croy struck twice and Esther Cooke scored the other for The Plums!
Steve Barker's Under 15's put last weekends result behind then by beating Welland 4 - 1 at home. A much improved performance and a positive result, the first win of the season.
Wayne Lomax's Under 16's had no league fixture on Saturday so took on Welland Under 17's in a friendly. The Plums went in ahead at half time through a Dion Cartwright goal but Welland came on strong in the second half. At 3 - 1 down, The Plums searched for a way back into the game and a Dion Cartwright strike gave a glimmer of home but Wayne's side were just unable to find a third, 3 - 2 full time.
Jay Morgan's Under 18's struggled to get going in their game against Brocton on the back pitch on Saturday, going 2 - 0 down in the first half and missing a penalty meant for an uphill battle to get something out of the game. Alfie Elliott Smith did hand The Plums a glimmer of hope with an excellent header but in search for the equaliser, Brocton countered to score a third a seal a 3 - 1 win.
