Starting us off this week is Leanne Reynold's Under 7's who welcomed a Play R Pro side to Pershore. A tough afternoon for The Plums this one against a really impressive calibre of player in Play R Pro.
Tory Hall's Under 8's hosted Tysoe Hammers on Saturday morning, not quite a complete performance from The Plums but plenty of positives to take and they'll have been happy with the scoreline.
Andy Medler's Under 9's travelled up to West Brom on Saturday, they were taking on an impressive Bustleholme side. Despite taking the lead through Quinn, it proved a tough morning's work for The Plums who will look to bounce back in their next game.
Tim Brown's Under 10's travelled away to Honeybourne on Saturday morning and produced a brilliant performance on a really heavy pitch! The Plums came out the blocks firing and never let up on their opponents.
Tim Brown's Under 11's made the short journey to take on Nunnery Wood at the weekend and they did so with a fantastic scoreline in this friendly fixture.
Pete Wood's Under 12's ran out 1 - 0 winners in a tight affair against Crowle! Reon Withers scoring the only goal of the game to secure all three points for The Plums.
Jenna Lienerth's Under 12 Girls' ran out 4 - 0 winners over Newtown Sports over at Eckington! The Plums 2 - 0 at half time in this one and whilst there were chances missed in the second half, they did go on to double their advantage and secure all three points. Summer Cropper scored twice, Georgie-Mai Camden and Catelynn Price were also on target for Pershore.
AJ Mountain's Under 13's hosted Droitwich on Saturday and despite having a bare eleven, which became ten early on in the game, The Plums gave a good account of themselves despite the 4 - 0 scoreline.
Jon Dean's Under 13 Bullets' again took on Nunnery Wood, and produced exactly the same result as last week to maintain their unbeaten league run. Eric and Luke on the scoresheet in this one for The Plums as the two sides played out a 2 - 2 draw.
Rich Morley's Under 14's fell to defeat at home to Fairford Town with a frustrating defensive display. The Plums fell 3 - 0 behind in the first half and despite scoring early in the second half, it was the visitors that secured all three points in this one with a 7 - 2 win. Kelton and Dara on target for Pershore in this one.
Jason Neville's Under 14 Bullets' hosted Droitwich Dynamos in an early kick-off on Saturday morning with both sides struggling to get going in the first half. The second half was much improved and both keepers were called into action to keep the scores level. Level is how it finished, 0 - 0 and another point on the board for The Plums.
AJ Mountain's Under 14 Girls' ran out 5 - 1 winners over Inkberrow Eagles at home. Despite a slow start The Plums went on to show their dominance in this one, specifically second half. Grace Mountain struck twice whilst Rhianna Croy, Esther Cooke and Elly Mountain were also on the scoresheet.
Steve Barker's Under 15's ran out 4 - 1 winners over Bourton Rovers. The damage was done in the first half of this one for Pershore Town but Bourton rallied second half in the hope of getting back into the game.
Wayne Lomax's Under 16's were held to a 2 - 2 draw by Warwick on Saturday, Warwick taking the lead against the run of play from the penalty spot before Ben Callaghan and Tom Porter had handed The Plums a 2 - 1 lead. The visitors didn't give in however and found an equaliser for a share of the points late on in this one.
Stuart Townsend's Under 16's secured a penalty shoot-out win over Golden Hill Sonics in the Severn Valley Challenge Cup! The game itself was scrappy on a tough surface with Sonics having travelled up from Bristol on the back of five straight wins. It was the away side that took the lead in this one on the stroke of half time but The Plums found an equaliser in the second half and missed a number of chances to win it towards the end. It came down to penalties and with Finlay Townsend saving two in the shoot-out it was Pershore that progressed.
Jay Morgan's Under 17's produced a fantastic display against Solihull Moors Under 18's in the MJPL. Callum Jenkinson scored twice whilst Brooklyn Warren, Jack Ellery and Jake Dyke were also all on the scoresheet. Tom King made a big reflex save to come away from this one with a clean sheet, 5 - 0.
Onto Sunday and Wayne Lomax's Under 16's travelled to Tewkesbury to take on the leagues leaders in the Cheltenham League. The Plums produced a fantastic performance in this one, running out 5 - 0 winners to go second in the table, three points behind the hosts with two games in hand. Will Knowles struck twice whilst Ethan Lomax, Nelson Amphlett and Dion Cartwright were also on the scoresheet.
Lastly, James Moreton's Sunday Team played out a 1 - 1 draw away to Offenham Rovers in Group B of the Evesham Sunday League Division One Cup! Neil Taylor on the scoresheet for The Plums in this one.
