Starting us off this week is Leanne Reynold's Under 7's who travelled to Lickhill Colts on Saturday morning for their first game following Christmas. The Plums started brilliant in a game that was played over two halves, as opposed to the four quarters as normal. The hosts fought back and it took a late goal from Pershore to have a share in the game.
Tim Brown's Under 10's hosted Crowle and produced a controlled performance against their visitors. The Plums took the lead heading into half time and continued to add to the scoreline in the second half whilst Crowle were unable to hurt Pershore at the other end.
Tim Brown's Under 11's were also in fine form as they took on Alcester Town. Ollie GD helped himself to another four goals for Pershore Town as his tally continues to rise. The Plums running out winners in this one with the scoreline tighter than it should've been.
Pete Wood's Under 12's travelled to Evesham United and following a slow start The Plums took the lead against their rivals. The Robins did hit back from the penalty spot but from there, Pershore dominated adding a further three goals to their tally, winning the game 4 - 1.
Grace Harker's Under 12 Girls' were in some form on Saturday morning with a flawless performance against Nunnery Wood. Georgie-Mai helped herself to six goals and a Girl of the Game performance whilst Summer, Catelynn and Harriet each scored twice as The Plums secured a 12 - 2 win.
Jon Dean's Under 13 Bullets' returned to winning ways as they travelled to Tewkesbury. The Plums gave a brilliant reaction to last week's set back and ran out 3 - 2 winners thanks to goals from Jude, Luke and a late winner from Edward.
Rich Morley's Under 14's suffered defeat to Bilbrook in the Midland Junior Premier League. The Plums found themselves 2 - 0 down by half time, a half that included too many mistakes for Pershore to gain a foothold in the game. Whilst an improvement was seen in the second half, a lack of end product in the final third meant Bilbrook's goal went largely untroubled and the visitors managed to add to the scoreline; running out 3 - 0 winners.
Jason Neville's Under 14's travelled to Shipston and ran out 5 - 0 winners with a superb performance. The scoreline could've certainly been wider but for some fantastic saves from the hosts' goalkeeper. Anthony, Riley, Will and Ryan with a brace securing all three points for The Plums.
AJ Moutain's Under 14 Girls' travelled to Bromsgrove to take on Catshill and produced a dominant display to run out 4 - 1 winners. After a slow start, The Plums settled into the game and really should've added further goals to their tally. Rhianna Croy, Grace Mountain and Jazzy Beard on target for AJ's side, whilst Catshill also helped with an own goal.
Steve Barker's Under 15's travelled to Tewkesbury for what proved to be a really scrappy win. The Plums stuck to it nevertheless and ran out 4 - 2 winners with Lewis helping himself to a hat-trick and Josh also getting on the scoresheet.
Wayne Lomax's Under 16's faced Bredon on the back pitch at the Recruit 12 Community Stadium and secured a big win over last season's league champions. After conceding some sloppy goals in the first half, the scoreline was locked at 3 - 3 by half time but The Plums improved for the second half to secure all three points with a 6 - 3 win. Harry scored twice whilst Tom, Nelson, Will and Sean also all got on the scoresheet.
Jay Morgan's Under 17's were beaten in the County Cup away to Worcester City on Saturday morning. The Plums did take the lead in this one but were punished for a poor spell which allowed City back into the game, going on to secure a 4 - 1 win over Pershore. Henry Guy picked up the Man of the Match vote in this one.
Onto Sunday and Wayne Lomax's Under 16's secured their second win of the weekend with a 3 - 2 victory over Charlton Rovers. The Plums progress into the Cheltenham Youth League Cup Semi Final with this victory but they were made to work hard for it. Jake scored twice, with Morley getting himself a goal and Pershore will now look forward to playing Cinderford in the Semi Final.
Finally, on Sunday James Moreton's Sunday Team lost 1 - 0 at home to Offenham Rovers in the Division One Cup.
