Going back to last Thursday, our Midland Floodlit Youth League Under 18's fell to a 2 - 1 defeat under the lights at the AIM Community Stadium. They hosted Malvern Town, who they beat the week previous in the Herefordshire FA Giantkillers Cup, in league action and despite Louis Harrison giving The Plums a lead Malvern hit back twice to take all three points.
Tim Brown's Under 8's will lick their wounds from Saturday entertaining encounter against Bredon. Joseph and Cam were both on the scoresheet for The Plums in this one.
The Under 9's enjoyed themselves against Evesham United at Abbey Park School; Harry, Oscar and Emlyn were in the goals during this game whilst the other goal will have to go to the dubious goals panel.
David's Under 10's gave him everything they had during their game against Warndon Villages Pumas, Karlton and Will were both on the scoresheet and there was a special mention to Kevin who made his debut for The Plums.
Jon Dean's Under 11 Bullets' will continue their progress following Saturday's result against Inkberrow Eagles. Eric and Jude both on the scoresheet for Jon's side.
Plums Under 12's featured at Eckington on Saturday morning, running out 6 - 0 winners over Alcester Town Rangers having lead 5 - 0 at half time. There was a hat-trick for Harry, a brace for Troy and Charlie chipped in to complete the scoring.
Our Under 13's secured a big result at Eckington against top of the league, and previously unbeated, Broadway United. A second half goal from Lucas Webster secured the 1 - 0 win for The Plums which gives them their second league win of the season.
Phil Haines' Under 14's suffered defeat away to Evesham United, a re-run of the cup final that was won by Pershore on penalties last season saw The Plums suffer a 1 - 0 defeat this time around with the score locked at 0 - 0 at half time.
There was disappointed for our Under 18's, with some confusion their game was called off due to no official, albeit the official did turn up to no teams being there for the game.
Adam Parker's Development Team returned to winning ways on Saturday afternoon away to Meadow Park in the Bateman Sports Challenge Cup, Ewan Carter scored twice alongside a Brad Upton goal to see Pershore through to the next round with a 3 - 1 win.
Onto Sunday and Stuart Townsend's Under 14's were in seventh heaven away against Drakes Broughton! Morley Westwood scored twice whilst there were also goals for Jack Owen, Charlie Smith, Tom Porter, Gary Smith and Toby Marchant to secure the win for The Plums.
Our Under 15's fell to defeat away to an unbeaten Cheltenham Youth team, a competitive game nonetheless but Callum Jenkinson's eight goal on a Sunday was only a consolation in a 3 - 1 defeat.
To round up Sunday's action, unfortunately the overnight rain got the better of the back pitch at the AIM Community Stadium with our Sunday Team's game against Ashton called off.
Lastly, last night our Under 18's MFYL team were back in action when they travelled to Coton Green for a League Cup fixture. A second half goal from Dylan Goode secured the win for Mike Bishop's side and they progress into the Third Round.
